OntheMarket.com complaints continue to The Competition and Markets Authority


It’s not just Zoopla with which OntheMarket has been having a public spat.

A raft of online agents banned from advertising on the new portal are also lining up to express their outrage.

The operators of OnTheMarket — Savills, Knight Frank, Strutt & Parker, Chesterton Humberts, Douglas & Gordon and Glentree Estates — have insisted that agents must provide a “full service” and operate from an office.

This decision has not gone down well. Some online agents, notably eMoov, whose CEO is Russell Quirk , it is backed by James Caan CBE, the former BBC Two Dragons’ Den judge, have complained to the Competition and Markets Authority .
